OSE was the prime consultant on a project to replace the HVAC system and windows for the existing elementary school, with an overall construction cost of $1,100,000. The existing HVAC system consisted of window air conditioners and 60 year old steam boiler powered heating. OSE was selected by the school district to investigate options for replacing the existing boiler system, and provide air conditioning to the entire building. After review of multiple options, a variable refrigerant flow zoning system was selected. As part of the same project the building windows were replaced. OSE brought in an architectural consultant as part of our team to provide the window system design. This project was completed over one summer to eliminate scheduling conflict for the school.
