Hillary Velasco is an esteemed Project Manager at Orazem & Scalora Engineering (OSE), contributing her exceptional skills and expertise to the company since 2014. She graduated from Kansas State University in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering, and she is now a registered Professional Engineer in Kansas.
Throughout her tenure at OSE, Hillary has played a pivotal role in diverse projects, including restaurants, convenience stores, K-12 and higher education facilities, sports field lighting, transportation corridor lighting, and high-end residential developments. While her experience encompasses all aspects of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering, her true passion lies in lighting design. Hillary’s creative and innovative approach shines through her exceptional work in this specialized field. In addition to her engineering design responsibilities, she also assists in managing the company’s acclaimed internship program, providing valuable guidance and mentorship to aspiring engineers.
Born and raised in Wamego, Kansas, Hillary is deeply connected to her roots as a native Kansan. She married her high school sweetheart, and they have established their home in Manhattan with their dogs. During her leisure time, Hillary indulges in her creative pursuits, including
photography, woodworking, and crochet. These hobbies not only offer a welcome respite but also allow her to express her artistic side.
